Tripod Grip Repair
Personal Project — January-June 2019
My selfie-stick's phone grip broke off one day, so I reverse-engineered the piece and printed out a new one! I took the opportunity of a simple product to develop my skills with tolerancing and iterative prototyping. I modelled the first version in Autodesk Inventor, and modeled the subsequent versions in SolidWorks. I printed the pieces on an Ultimaker 3 and Ender 3 Pro, all with PLA.

Throughout this project I was able to refine my tolerancing and CAD capabilities, as well as interact with and learn about different kinds of 3D printers.
